Songwriting Coaching & Mentorship - Individual Lessons
Intuitively supporting you in the writing and recording of your original songs
Have you always wanted to write and record your original music but…
…you’ve been too busy with your career and family?
…feel intimidated by recording studios?
…believe you aren’t good enough to accomplish the task?
You don’t have to be classically trained to write and record an album!
A strong desire to express yourself through music is the main ingredient. Everything else can be learned or improved.
It’s never too late to build that dream. All those perceived problems that you’ve been using as roadblocks have solutions.
My Songwriting Mentorship offerings are for you if you’re ready to:
→ Move forward with recording your music
→ Brush up on guitar and start playing again
→ Strengthen and improve your voice
→ Finish those lyrics and turn them into a song
→ Learn which chords to use to compose your music
→ Write songs specifically for your voice
→ Write beautiful harmonies
→ Diversify your songwriting with different styles, different keys, different rhythms
→ Add more instrumentation to your recordings
I have two Songwriting Mentorship options, my Record Your Studio Album Program, as well as individual 2-hour Songwriting Mentorship Sessions.
In both cases, I am right there with you, using my experience, knowledge and intuition to help support you through all worries and fears.

You will build confidence and experience a wonderful feeling of accomplishment in your songwriting.
During my Record Your Studio Album Program I guide you through the creation of an album of 10 professionally recorded and mastered tunes in approximately 6 months.
I will teach and support you through the writing of your songs, the practice for performing those songs in the studio, and I will be by your side during the recording of your album. This program includes intentional mindset support to help you stay on track.
My Songwriting Mentorship Sessions give you the same support and teaching as the album program but in 2-hour session blocks. This is a la carte style with an emphasis on what you feel you need the most help with.
Ready to experience my thoughtful support during a 2-hour session?
Interested in recording your first studio album? Let's get on a call to assess where you are to determine the best path forward for you.
My Songwriting Story
My first attempt at songwriting involved hiding away in my bedroom to pluck at my sister’s broken-string guitar and writing awful poetry about dramatic things I hadn’t experienced at the young age of 14.
A couple of years later, I found the courage to start guitar lessons and, after a false start at a business degree, I ended up studying at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. I eventually graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in music engineering.
From the beginning, I was a prolific songwriter and always wrote the vast majority of tunes for all the rock bands I fronted.

At some point I branched out a bit and took trips to Nashville for songwriting workshops that greatly improved and expanded my capability. This gave me the confidence and musical diversity that led to being hired as a composer and cast member for several plays that were performed on Atlanta’s Beltline.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve continued to write daily with at least 6 to 8 songs in the works at any given time. I’ve written two albums for Kitty Wolf, a family band I had with my ex, and during Covid, I recorded my first solo album ALIENS ANGELS & MONSTERS.
Fast forward to my recent move from Atlanta to Asheville, North Carolina where I’ve formed a new band and have begun writing and recording my second Scott Hall album.
As a result of successfully pushing forward with my music career at a late age and realizing that I’ve acquired quite a bit of knowledge about songwriting and recording, I am now helping others record their original music.
